Orange Buckwheat Tea from Leung's Cha combines the nutty richness of buckwheat with the bright, zesty flavour of orange.
Roasted buckwheat brings a warm, toasty, almost cereal-like character, while orange adds a lively citrus lift and coconut contributes a soft, tropical twist. The result is a smooth, comforting cup that is delicious on its own or with a touch of honey. It works as an everyday tea, an after-dinner drink or a refreshing iced tea on warm days.
Steep about 1 teaspoon (or one serving) in 250 ml of hot water just off the boil for 3–5 minutes, then strain. Adjust strength to taste. For iced tea, brew double strength and pour over ice. Store sealed in a cool, dry place.
