Gua sha is a traditional facial massage technique in which a smooth stone is glided over the skin to release tension and leave the complexion looking refreshed. Rose quartz has a long history in beauty rituals, including ancient Egypt, and is associated with the heart chakra and soothing energy. Used with your favourite face oil, it helps products glide and spread evenly while you enjoy a relaxing massage.
Apply your face oil or serum as usual. Holding the tool flat against the skin at a low angle, use gentle but firm strokes from the centre of the face outward and from the neck upward, repeating each stroke 3–5 times. Use up to seven times a week. Clean with mild soap and water after each use.
